Because She's Shy

President Obama.  The first African American to be president of the United States.  It is an absolutely amazing thing and I can still feel the goosebumps from when it was announced that he had won.  Of course, it does not mean I have no worries.  We have yet to see what he can accomplish and whether he will remain honest and true to everything that he has stated thus far.  Everytime there is an election there is always the worry that the candidate the people have chosen may not be the right one or that our new president may make a terrible mistake and perhaps never rectify it.  Of course there is worry but there is also hope.  As with any new event that takes place, there is hope that things will change for the better and not remain stagnant or, even more troubling, get even worse.  I was not as politically involved as many others but I truly hoped for improvement.  It did not matter whether it came from McCain or Obama.  I unlike many of you had no choice for reasons beyond my control.  Rejoice in the rights that you posses and practice them to their fullest.  Even with the division of this country's people, because of different ideas, it remains a powerful and emotional event to witness history happening right before your eyes.

I've come to the conclusion that I like the series and everything to do with it to be too picky about the movie.  I liked the trailer.  Both actors, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, looked great and I did not see anything blatantly, obnoxiously wrong to bother me.  I'm not a good critic and especially not when I am so biased.  I like the book and therefore I want to like the movie as well.  I'm going to enjoy it as much as I can.  They tried to keep it as close to the book as they could and I don't think the acting is horrible.  If you really want to see bad acting go see a Mexican novela.  Now that's bad.  I'm really exited for the movie.  Maybe I'm obsessed.  Think I could give a run to the Twilight Mom's for their money?

 Heath Ledger was the one that kept me watching the movie.  If it was not for him I would not have been able to stay awake for the entire movie.  When ever he was on screen he was able to capture my complete attention.  I don't know a whole lot about movies and who deserves to win an oscar but without him the movie would have not been as great as it turned out.

I thought I was leaning more towards being an Esme but surprise, surprise. Believe it or not I'm a little disappointed.
